Germany, Hj. A Golden Leader’s Sports Badge, Ground Found Newly Listed A Special Class(Goldene Fhrer Sportabzeichen). Instituted 15 May 1938 by Baldur von Schirach. (1938 1943 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, overlaid by a Tyr rune, in turn bearing a mobile swastika and a ring with a raised inscription of FR LEISTUNGEN IN DER HJ (FOR PROFICIENCY IN THE HJ), the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, marked with a
