Spain, Franco Period. A Civil Order of Africa, Grand Cross Badge, c. 1955 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac measuring 148(Orden Civil de frica). Instituted on October 26th, 1933. Type II (1950 1977). Constructed of gilded bronze, consisting of a circular badge, the obverse with a central gilded Spanish Coat of Arms with green enameled plants tied together at the base via a red enameled ribbon, on a loop for suspension from its period original sash ribbon, unmarked, measuring 38. 8 mm in diameter, in better than extremely fine condition.
