As for the summer fun, Walking around Vitebsk is always fun and yet delightful even though everything at a subconscious level seems to be lifeless. I say this because no one seems to care about how they just do thier job. It’s as if they are automatons, waiting for the next roll call. It isn’t anything against the people personally it’s just you can tell there is no glee, there is no happiness, there isn’t any real joy in their work. It’s a sense of when will it end.
I do stand corrected about the stateless citizen remark I made a few emails back. I talked with a Russian in New York, in which he said for decades most Russians had no true experience with a true native English speaker nor an updated contextual view of English as it evolves generationally. His perspective is that they do not even possibly know a better word then stateless citizen.
Also since there is no true James Bond vs KGB action in my life. Unless they watch from an overlord type palace. I can say I truly, do not feel the love from the Belorussian KGB. I have read so many stories and documentaries of how Americans and westerners were followed or some how harassed in some form, by the KGB. Yet I see none of it here, I am quite sure they know I am here, since I had to Register or become an illegal alien.
The only thing, I am sure they monitor is online traffic, and SMS texting & phone calls. Which I am sure is just riveting action for them. My calls and phone calls consist of meet me here, how are you today etc. Even though I am critical of the government keep in mind I feel safe doing so due to the fact, I am using an encrypted Internet Connection, the same type of encryption that credit cards use. When you pay for things, or buy anything online. So unless they have the abilities of the NSA. I doubt they have the time or money to crack, hack and chase google. For my info. Cause on encrypted connections nothing is saved in the browser locally. It is erased when the connection is closed.
(As for everyone that I email again I BCC everyone (Blind Carbon Copy) Your email address is removed from the orignal text email, and hidden entirely when the message sends. Thus no spam, thus no government knowing who i send to.
Almost everything I do is encrypted from my messengers, to my google search results, to my email, as well as Youtube. Call me paranoid.
As for dates I will tease my American guy friends to the lovely walk around date I had. I can guarantee all the women here dress to her class level or higher. Meet Anastasia a Linguist & Economist. (She knows 6 languages has a DBA and a CPA and shes how old? 20) I can not name a single American girl 16-30 that can compete with that. Nor the looks. Brains being the key component here. Everything else secondary.
