I know I'm breaking a taboo, but I'm sure every self employed person has felt this way. I've never wanted to drop a particular client then as I do now. The reason being, that I was grilled for over 2 hours that what I was being honest about is obviously a lie. When I know what the truth is.. I pride myself on being 100% truthful even to a fault. It just erks me to be considered as if I have a unethical, or immoral plan that I must be conspiring about with. If I lie, or am deceptive my word means nothing, my loyalty means nothing. It puts nearly a decade of work in the gutter. So why would I lie, there is no gain. I also realize this post is also in the wrong, but it just bothers me to be considered as something that I know I'm not.
