So with all the news of #ISIS Caliphate & Al-Queda It reminds me of 2 things, I grew up with (Art Imitates Life?) First is Dune which speaks of a religious #Caliphate for oppressed people. (The Fremen, whom find Mau Dib) As well Command & Conquer has Global Defense Initiative (GDI) vs The Brotherhood of Nod. In all 3 cases each want's it's own sovereign identity. Though in C&C its more concurrent with Terrorism! Though you could argue Mua'dib was a fanatic metaphorically to the Spacing Guild. (Like #ISIS #AlQueda are) In short look at the game C&C video.
